L/C Advising

L/C Advising means the notification of the received L/C or its amendments to the beneficiary by Bank of China.

Secured transmition and fast convey The product can help the beneficiary (exporter) under the L/C timely receive the L/C or its amendments that the authenticity has been verified. In addition Bank has broad network in terms of communication to advise L/C to exporters’ hand in time.

Beneficiary under L/C

1. The issuing bank must have a correspondent banking relationship with Bank of China whereby verifying the authenticity by checking the authorized signature specimen or SWIFT
2. Upon receipt of the documentary credits, the exporter (beneficiary) must check the terms and conditions therein to ensure they are in order, otherwise, to liaise with the importer (applicant) to arrange for an amendment
